The Northern Rio Grande Sportsmen’s Club has established a number of memberships to meet the needs of members and their families. Please read this page carefully regarding the various responsibilities and requirements of each membership type.
Please note that no new individual or family memberships will be valid without a current NRGSC Safety Orientation Class certificate. No exceptions will be made to this rule. Renewing members who have previously passed the safety class are not required to take it again.
All members included in a family membership application must provide proof of safety training. Each safety training quiz is associated with an email address.
All memberships run from July 1 to June 30 the following year. Fees will not be prorated. See the membership types below for information on fees.
Joining NRGSC
Applications to the club will be made by mail. Questions on membership should be directed to Membership Secretaryby emailprior to submitting an application. You must mail in all required document(s) with a new or renewing individual or family annual
NRGSC membership application. These include:
Completely filled out applications. (Must include full legal name(s))
Copy or copies of NRGSC Safety Orientation Class certificate or certificates.
A $75 check made out to the NRGSC
If any of the above is missing the membership will not be processed. If you are a new Member, a gate card will be mailed to you after your application is processed. Renewing members should already have a gate card. The card will be reactivated upon the processing of their application
You are required to return the key card should you decide to not renew your membership.

Key card replacements will be assessed a $10 fee.
Individual Membership
Annual dues are $75
Current members have the right to vote at the NRGSC annual meeting
Members may bring guests to NRGSC Ranges if guests comply with the One-Day Membership process
New Members will be mailed a card that activates the gate. The card acts as both proof of membership and key to the gate.
Renewing members should already have a gate card. The card will be reactivated upon the processing of their application.
All lost cards will be deactivated. Replacement cards cost $10.
Member is responsible for reviewing the rules, bylaws and calendar of events contained on the NRGSC website – as well as for checking the NRGSC website for changes to this information
Once selected, a membership-type may not be changed once submitted
Applications must be complete with all members of the family unit providing copies of Safety Orientation Class certificates. The legal names and ages of all family members must be filled out on the NRGSC Family Annual Membership Application Form.
Once submitted, applications will not be changed. Incomplete applications will be rejected. No NRGSC officer will make alterations to the application after submittal.
Current adult Family Members have the right to vote at the NRGSC Annual Meeting
Family Member under 18 must be accompanied by an adult Family Member

Must be accompanied at all times by an active NRGSC Member in good standing for a specific club scheduled event.
Must be at least 18 years old
Must not be a felon, fugitive from justice or barred from possessing a firearm
Must display sportsman-like conduct
Must have successfully completed safety training conducted by NRGSC event manager, range manager or instructor, instructor, as certified on the application, and paid the
applicable fee.
A member who violates these standards may be expelled from NRGSC property by the Event/Match director, Range Manager, Instructor or their delegate who issued the one-day membership
